May 13th and 14th was Chicago History Museum’s Summer kick off event, ChicaGO24. The Museum hosts a weekend full of interesting tours all over Chicago – from Mural tours, to a boat ride along the Chicago River, CHM really went all out this year
On Sunday Dita and I joined CHM for the Puppy Crawl!
The tour started at the Chicago History Museum where we met all 10 of our fellow Historian pups, including Toby – the Bernedoodle! From the Museum we walked all over Lincoln Park and learned about some of the buildings that surround it, the public art, and the history of animals in Chicago!
Dita paid as close attention as one can expect from a 3 month old Italian Greyhound but she rocked a ChicaGO24 pin the whole time.
Dita’s favorite part was meeting all the other friendly dogs and getting lots of exercise. Learning about the horse races that used to happen in Lincoln Park may have inspired Dita to run as fast as she could from one spot to another…
We can’t wait for next year’s Puppy Crawl! Thanks, Chicago History Museum!
